Timrå offers an experience of nature from ocean coast to wilderness
The nature reserve at the delta of the river Indalsälven is the creation of Vildhussen when he reshaped the rivers at Storforsen in Jämtland and Döda fallet (Dead Falls) in Ragunda.
Timrå contains several nature reserves which stretch from the Indalsälven delta up to the wilderness regions of Lögdö; offering good fishing, canoeing, studying flora and fauna or pleasant countryside rides on the back of an Icelandic horse.
