Bergeforsens Kraftverk
This power station was completed in 1956. The waterfall drop was increased to 23 m by constructing dams and a 60 km long water reservoir. The power station has four aggregates fitted with Kaplan-turbines. Bergeforsens Kraft AB is collectively owned by Vattenfall and E.ON Vattenkraft Sverige AB. The power station can be viewed on request.

Rundbackens Kraftverk
This power station was built in 1915-16 and lies along the rivers Ådalsån/Ljustorpsån. The machine hall contains three turbine-driven generators manufactured in 1916 and 1924. The combined output is c. 2,500 Kw. The power station is still in use. Visits can be booked through Sydkraft.

The Y
30 m high ‘Y’, Västernorrland county’s letter symbol, constructed in cement by Bengt Lindström. Erected in 1995. The Y can be interpreted either as a giant in striking colours who stretches his enormous arms to the sky in the gesture of a triumphant winner; or as a mighty tree symbolising a positive future for the county of Västernorrland.

Öringen Tourist Information
