If you enjoy winter activities, you will find a great selection in Timrå. Great ski trails, a slalom slope, and in Ethe E.ON Arena you can play hockey or just skate. The choice is yours.

Skating in Timrå
General public times on the ice in E. ON Arena: Sundays 8am–9.45am, no hockey/bandy sticks or puck allowed. In the Lill-Strimma hall: Sundays 8am–9.45am sticks and  pucks allowed. Possible to skate on the ice at other times if free. g 060-789 10 00 for information.  Outdoor rink from 1 Nov to end of February.

Skönviksbacken slopes
With a drop of 180 metres and a length of 900 metres, Skönviksbacken is the longest slalom slope in the district.  Catering and heated cabin open at the same times as the slope. For more information see website.

Timrå municipal lit-up skiing trail
Lit trail in Timrå Centrala Idrottsplatsen (IP) (central playing fields), Skönviksbergets Skidstadion, Bergeforsens Skidstadion and Söråkers IP. Dogs are allowed. Timrå Centr. IP: Mon. 6pm–10 pm. Wed. 8pm–10 pm, Sat. 6pm–10 pm.  Skönviksberget: Mon–Fri daytime, Wed. 6pm–10 pm.  Bergeforsens Skidstadion: Fri 6pm–10 pm.

Timrå Snow Scooter Club
The snow scooter club arranges various outings for members and other scooter enthusiasts.  Scooter safari for children and young people from Timrå and Sundsvall areas. For club house opening times in Snägden, activities and other information, see website.

Tynderö IK Sports club
Tynderö IK skiing club was formed in 1931, and organises skiing activities and skiing competitions mainly for young people, with the motto ‘Skiis for all’. Activities take place in Söråkers IP playing fields where there are lighted trails for running and skiing.
