If you decide to live in Timrå you are within easy commuting distance of Sundsvall and Härnösand. It takes 15 min by car to Sundsvall and 30 min by bus. The journey to Härnösand is c. 45 min by car and the same by bus.  Ånge and northern Hälsingland also lie within reasonable commuting distance.
